Frequently Asked Questions Frequently Asked Questions
What does I&D stand for?
I&D stands for Installation and Dismantle. EventDrapery.com will install your drapery prior to your event and take it down when the event ends for a price of $2.00 per linear foot of rented drape. Please review our “Conditions of Use” statements located on our website to insure strict compliance by your staff in the handling and use of our products.

Do you make fabric samples available for customers and/or potential customers?
Yes, your sales representative will be more than happy to deliver samples of the fabric you are interested in using, upon request.

Will you make custom draperies?
At this point in time, we are concentrating on renting our existing inventory; however we are committed to adding new and exciting fabrics to our line in the near future. Please see your sales representative if you have suggestions for enhancing our drapery line.

What does Fire retardant mean?
In accordance with NFPA 701 small scale, the fire marshal requires that fabric used in commercial spaces be fire retardant. Fire retardant does not mean completely resistant to flames. Fire retardant fabrics will burn if exposed to an open flame or heat source for an extended period of time. All fire retardant fabrics must be kept away from any open flame or pyrotechnics at all times. A certificate of Flame Resistance will be provided upon request for any fire retardant drapery.

Is all drapery offered by EventDrapery.com fire retardant?
No; however, we are in the process of fire retarding all of our draperies. Each drapery listed on our website indicates whether it is currently fire retardant. If you are interested in drapery that is not currently fire retardant, please ask your sales representative if that drapery could be treated in time for your event.

Does EventDrapery.com deliver?
Yes, Delivery is free with a minimum order of $300 in the metro Atlanta area. Delivery costs outside the metro Atlanta area will be determined by location. Ask your sales representative for pricing.

What happens after I complete my wish list?
At the final stage of completing your wish list order online, (at the end of the checkout procedure) an email is automatically sent to a sales representative who will view your order within 24 to 48 hours and contact you to confirm the information you provided.

Could I purchase draperies and/or equipment from EventDrapey.com?
We are a drapery rental company only and do not offer any of our products for sale.

Does EventDrapery.com offer event planning services?
At this time, we do not offer any event planning services; however we will be glad to help you design a specific look, using our drape, to suit your needs for your special event.

How do I figure out how much equipment and/or drape I need for my event?
Please refer to the detailed explanation and examples listed under the “Pricing Guide” of our website.

What height drapery do I need to rent?
Our drapery height starts at 12’ and goes up to 20’ depending upon the specific drape. Each drapery product listed on our website indicates the specific height of that drape.

How long can I keep the draperies?
The number of rental days will be determined per individual project (but typically 2 to 3 days).

Can I use pipe and drape outdoors?
There are many reasons why we do not recommend using pipe and drape outdoors, the main one being weather conditions. However, depending upon the look that you are trying to achieve, we would be glad to help you determine the best setup to avoid damage. For example, a long continuous run of drape is not recommended for outdoor use, but short runs can be accommodated.
